I should be cleaning the house. The cat fur is piling up in corners and has nearly buried the CPU. It's a wonder the thing hasn't caught fire.... which reminds me... I never did drop a work ticket at the hospital to get the computer on 3rd floor vacuumed out... hope it doesn't catch fire......

but on to the main event....

A while back I started reading 'Escape' by Carolyn Jessop, a survivor/runaway from the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's a disturbing book detailing the abuse within the cult. Today on the telly, I see that 52 girls have been removed from the FLDS compound in Texas and placed with Child Protective Services.

Maybe this will spur the Utah Child Protective Services to go investigate what is going on in Hildale.

It's frightening what goes on in this country, known to the authorities, but not pursued.
